wish list wednesday

What am I wishing for this Wednesday?

* New perfume. Any suggestions?

* A cowboy hat for the beach. Just because it’s hot, humid and windy doesn’t mean I don’t want to be cute.

* These Mary Janes. Blue or tan, I don’t care. I just want them.

* New fingernail polish. I love essie Turquoise & Caicos.

* Some book recommendations. And please don’t say The Help.

What’s your wish?

On my blog to the left are labels. One is reading. But out of recent reads these two were excellent.

The Art of Racing in the Rain. Different but an easy read. I loved it. And for perfumes, obviously I don't know what you have now, but I like Marc Jacobs Daisy.

Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterreaneo in Fico di Amalfi (my favorite summer scent) or Aranci di Capri. Both truly smell like the Amalfi Coast. I'm reading My Life in France by Julia Child and love it. It's ten times better than Julie and Julia which is a big waste of time. I'm warning you the book will make you hungry.

Also, I'm in love with Turquoise & Caicos! I'm thinking of that or maybe Strawberry Margarita for my beachy pedicure!

I just laughed out loud at your comment about The Help. Have you read any of Stieg Larsson's books? Or Sarah's Key? One of my girlfriends loves Pillars of the Earth...haven't read it but just got it from the library.
