helpful hint

Here’s a great kitschy kitchen tip from the Casserole Queens:

After a long day in the kitchen on Monday, we found ourselves with a bad case of smelly cooking hands! You know that feeling….no matter how many times you wash your hands, they would still smell like the onions you just chopped. Well, to stamp out the smell for good - simply rub your hands over a stainless steel utensil under running water. Try it. It really works! Especially on the odor of garlic, onions or fish.

Neato! For other helpful hints or to order a casserole (if you're in the Austin, TX area), check out their cute website!

you know they have those stainless bars that look like soap, is that what they are for too? i see them in peoples houses and always feel very confused.

We haven't used our gift certificate yet, but we have checked out their website & it looks truly divine! We are watching what we eat these days (trying to loose that pregnancy weight), and we think we are going for the low fat lasagna...we can't wait! I will let you know when we order & how it turns out! I am sure it will be delish!

They are so cute... I saw them on Food Network's "Throwdown with Bobby Flay". I'm glad you shared their tip, too. I remember reading somewhere that there's no need to spend money on a "bar" that says it will rid the odor, as ANY stainless piece will do. It might have been in either Real Simple or Martha Stewart. Very handy tip, though!
